Neurological Rehabilitation

Neurological RehabilitationThe Optimal Neurological Rehabilitation program involves the use of evidence-based research and scientifically proven tests and measures to identify physical, cognitive and psychological impairments and how they impact a person's functionality. A patient-centered communication model is utilized to identify each individual's main neurological deficiency as well as establish and continually modify the patient's goals and desired rehabilitation outcomes. The program is designed for people who have spinal cord injuries, Parkinson's disease, stroke-related conditions, traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and other neurological impairments. The neurological rehabilitation team of physical, occupational and speech therapists is committed to helping residents regain functional mobility, maximize motor control, improve communication skills and optimize independence with self-care and daily living skills.

Optimal Rehabilitation is dose-specific, which means the more effort an individual puts into rehabilitation, the more likely the person is to improve and achieve their mobility goals. Everyone can gain strength and function in Optimal Rehabilitation, regardless of physical health or medical condition. All that is needed is time and effort, and the professional guidance of the therapy staff.
